Kaylin George is a director of commercials, short-form programs, and narrative films. She currently works as a resident writer and director at Media RED, an innovative production company built by Hollywood’s best cinematic storytellers. Kaylin has also worked in the literary department of a top five talent agency and at a cutting-edge Japan-based international production company. In Japan, Kaylin also directed her first foreign language film and found a love for international collaborative productions. Her most recent film, “Two Paper Nightingales” is a breathtaking fairytale that spans across the world. The film has become internationally award-winning; it screened at the Director’s Guild of America and was an official selection of the Student Academy Awards, Vail Film Festival, Jaipur International Film Festival, Fort Lauderdale International Film Festival, and many others. “Two Paper Nightingales” is now being distributed through The Lady Filmmakers channel on Film Festival Flix, and it's available for screening by industry professionals through Stage 32.  Kaylin was recently selected as a semi-finalist for the Shondaland x Seriesfest Women's Directing Mentorship Program. Today, Kaylin is constantly directing content. She's also authoring a a children’s book based on her mother’s childhood experiences growing up on the Hawaiian island of Moloka‘i. The book is being published through Media RED and is set to release by the end of the year, 2021.
